We put up plastic to cover your items.....after they cut away the blister, we Kilz'ed the stain and the ceiling....
and added some pre-mixed popcorn to the ceiling and applied texture onto the wall. Then we painted with your paint...
The 'leak' is hard to detect...look to the lower left of center.......
and see where the nails are coming up thru the shingle. That little nail can let in a lot of water during a deluge...
we lifted the shingle and applied clear sealant to the underside after we reset the nail...
and a little dab of sealant on the top of the hole...
rusted nails...this is typical because the roofers don't know where to put the nails on dimensional shingles...the joints stagger...but they are supposed to seal every nail within 3" of the joint..and they don't...
here's another nailhead that is too low...it's exposed to driving rain and rusting...
